Info from Licensor: The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence intercepted a major gold smuggling attempt at the airport, seizing 1.8 kg (3.96 lbs) of gold worth ₹2.37 crore ($269,275) from a Kuwait returnee. The contraband, comprising five bars and two pieces, was ingeniously hidden inside an iron door lock. The incident took place at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Shamshabad, in Hyderabad district, in southern India's Telangana."
