Occurred on May 16, 2026 / Dalian, China
Info from Licensor: "This is the spectacular moment that a glass covered building in China reflected sunlight and turned the space in front of it into a shimmering scene filled with bright beams. On May 16, 2026, in Dalian, Liaoning, the video captured a striking optical display created by sunlight reflecting off the glass exterior of a tall building. As the sun hit the building’s curtain wall, the light bounced across the front of the structure, making the entire area appear to sparkle with waves of brightness. In the footage, the reflected sunlight formed a glowing pattern that looked like rippling water spreading through the air. Beams of light could be seen cutting through the space in front of the building, creating what appeared to be a Tyndall effect. The dazzling scene made the high rise look as if it was surrounded by a bright, misty curtain of light. The video ended with the front of the building still glowing as the sunlight continued to scatter and shimmer across the scene."
