Occurred on May 16, 2025 / St. Louis, Missouri, USA Info from Licensor: "I was leaving my job in Lindell at around 2:35 in the afternoon. I had been driving for about 7 to 8 minutes when the wind suddenly picked up, and hail began to fall. Without warning, trees started crashing down, and my car began to wobble from the impact of bricks flying through the air—debris from houses collapsing under the force of the wind. There was loud thunder, darkness, and heavy hail. I saw baskets of clothes flying, rooftops being torn apart and flung into the air, and trees crashing onto cars. It was complete chaos—traumatic to witness everything being lifted and thrown around: siding from houses, clothing, bricks, trees. I was filled with fear until I managed to find a safer place to park and waited for the tornado to pass. I went into shock but was able to calm down once I realized the danger was moving away. After a few minutes, the tornado passed, but it left behind widespread destruction. Many homes and apartment buildings were destroyed, cars were crushed by fallen trees, and the roads were covered with debris from buildings and vegetation. People were panicking over the devastation—it was terrifying to witness."
