Raccoon and Possum Accidentally Get Stuck in Cage Together

Info from Licensor: "Back story: The door to this humane trap was secured open so as not to accidentally trap any wildlife while I was trap training a feral cat to eat in the trap so I could TNR (trap-neuter-vaccinate-return) him. Humane traps should always be covered so as to keep the trapped animal calm and safe (they can hurt themselves trying to get out if they can see out), which is why the towel was over the trap, to get kitty used to that being there as well.
Well, an opossum got a meal as a result of my method, but what neither I nor the opossum expected was for him to still end up getting trapped, not by me or the trap itself but by a hungry raccoon. As the video shows, our unlucky opossum did eventually manage to escape this epic squishing session with everything but his pride, though I'm honestly surprised he didn't die (pass out) during this stressful encounter. This video also brilliantly shows how resourceful, intelligent and tenacious raccoons really are, and how opossums bark really is worse than their bite. Opossums are the pacifists of our backyard wildlife."
